Congratulations to Paul and Shery Fetterman on the purchase of Sternentanzerin. Great things to come for Shery and Ella.
Sternentänzerin's (Ella) Sire, Spörcken, a 2008 dark bay German Hanoverian Stallion, completed his stallion performance test in 2011 in Adelheisdorf with an impressive 165 points in his dressage index. With many state premium mares and action foals, riding horses, licensed stallions, and Bundeschampionat participants, he is sure to continue his impressive career in North America. A leggy, elastic mover, with an impressive pedigree, he has stamped Ella with his inheritance.
On the dam line, Ella descends from the strong Hanoverian Verband stallion Don Frederico. Don Frederico became the 1999 Champion at the Hanoverian stallion licensing. The beautiful black stallion posses excellent rideablty and three correct gaits. A member of the prestigious Celle Black Horse Quadrille in addition to numerous accolades, this stallion has made his name forever in the world of dressage and offspring excellence. With his Breeding Value Index of 174 points and an assurance of 89% heritablility, he was awarded the second most valuable breeding stallion by the 2005 German Equestrian Federation.
On her own, Ella is proving to be a very talented young horse. As a six year old, Ella earned a invitation to the Championships in Los Angeles, testing 2nd level. As a seven year old she competed well at 3rd level and will make her 4th level debut this Spring. A wonderfully personable mare, she is always on her best behavior and ready to work and travel. After her import to the US in July of 2016, she spent several months in Washington State before SBCF acquired her in December 2016.
